Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) Information

COVID-19 relief packages recently passed by the United States Congress contain numerous benefits for families financially impacted by the pandemic. Some of these benefits are available to students who are eligible for free or reduced-priced school meals.

If you believe your school-aged child(ren) may qualify for free or reduced-price meals this school year and have not yet submitted the application for free or reduced-price meals to the school, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible.

You can apply by going to the following link: Alternatively, you may visit the District web page, click Departments and then click Food Service. You will see an icon PA School Meals. Click on this icon to begin the process. You may also call the Food Service office (570-966-8241) and request a Free/Reduced paper application to be sent home with your child or by mail.
The application will then be used to determine which benefits your child(ren) and/or household may be eligible to receive. Please be aware that applying for free or reduced-priced meals will not impact meals that your child(ren) currently receives through the school.

The goal is to begin issuing the Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits no later than early spring. PDE will share additional details as soon as they become available. For more information on the P-EBT program, please visit the following website:
