Act 118 of 2016 provided a one-year extension for all Professional Education Plans effective November 2, 2016 until November 2, 2017. Because the Professional Education Plan is a piece of the Comprehensive Plan, school districts were required to adjust their timelines in the Comprehensive Plan. The Plan was not required to be Board approved again, only affirmed by the Board President and Superintendent.
