Mr. Murray's Classroom - American and World Cultures
Hello and welcome to Mr. Murray's classroom! Let me start by introducing myself to you. I was born and raised in Jersey Shore, PA. After graduating from high school in 1995, I attended Lock Haven University of PA. While there, I found my future wife (Theresa) and we were married right after we graduated in 2000. Together, we moved to Selbyville, DE and taught for Indian River School District. After teaching there for a year, we decided to get closer to family and we both accepted teaching positions at Jersey Shore Area School District. After being with JSASD, we made one more move and it took us to Mifflinburg. My wife still continues to teach for the Jersey Shore Area School District as a learning support teacher at Nippenose Valley Elementary School. I have now been with Mifflinburg Area School District for six years, and I have never once regretted the move here. This is a great place to work, live, and raise a family. Our son Max attends kindergarten at Mifflinburg Elementary School and our other son Mason is two.
In addition to teaching World and American History, I am a class adviser for the class of 2012. I am also the head wrestling coach for the Mifflinburg Wildcats.
