  • Welcome to my classroom website!

Thank you so much for visiting.  Please have fun looking around!

I enjoy teaching and strive to have a classroom where all of my students can learn in a safe and accepting atmosphere and where learning is occurring at all times.  Your child will be valued for the special and unique individual that they are!

I graduated from Penn State in December of 1991 with a degree in Elementary Education and a minor in English Literature.  I completed my student teaching in Chichester, England at North Mundham Village School.  There, I spent three months teaching 4 and 5 year olds in their 'infant' classroom (kindergarten).  This was a very unique experience and much of what I learned there, I still use in my classrooms today.  My teaching career began at Midd-West School District where I taught 2nd Grade and then 3rd Grade.  I resigned from Midd-West in 2000 to raise my girls.  I have now been a teacher in the Mifflinburg School District since 2008 and love living in the same town where I teach!

My husband Tom and I live in Mifflinburg and we have two daughters, two cats, and a dog.
