The Mifflinburg town run for borough residents’ children in kindergarten through fifth grade will continue, with stops at Fourth and Market Streets; Seventh and Market Streets; the parking lot of the Mifflinburg swimming pool; the corner of Thompson and Third Streets; and the intersection of Gessner Road and Shelly Lane. The run, by bus 6, is provided for elementary and intermediate school students only.
A few bus number changes have been made, due to the purchase of new buses. Students who rode bus 16 will ride bus 19 this year, and students who rode bus 42 will board bus 40 this year.
Classes will begin Monday, August 25, at 11:00 a.m. Because of this start time, buses will run on a three-hour delay for the morning run on that day only.
